About ICNA SoCal

ICNA SoCal is a chapter of the Islamic Circle of North America that covers the Southern California region and is a registered Non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

ICNA is a grassroots organization which has an umbrella of projects, programs, and activities to service the growing Muslim Community needs as well as serve the needs of our neighbors.

Goals and Objectives :

To enhance the understanding of Islam, clear misconceptions, encourage dialogue, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote social justice, inclusion, and mutual understanding.
● To offer education that develop skills, enhance character, and bring a  productive society.
● To oppose immorality and oppression in all forms, and support efforts for civil liberties and socioeconomic justice.
● To strengthen the bonds of humanity by serving all of those in need.
● To cooperate with and support other organizations that work to improve society.

Core Principles :

● We are committed to bringing people closer to God, the Creator, and Sustainer, thus building stronger communities.
● We strongly believe that all people when empowered with faith, adequate social machinery, and divinely revealed tools, can bring about profound and positive changes in their lives and in the lives of those around them.
● We dedicate ourselves to address the basic human and social needs of the undeserved communities in SoCal.
● We believe that the practice of Islam will strengthen the social and religious fabric of our nation.
● We unequivocally condemn all acts of violence against civilians by any individual, group, or government.
● We advocate dialogue between faith communities in SoCal and nationally
● We support equal rights and responsibilities for men and women and people of all races and creeds.
